
doc. Ing. Kateřina Maršíková, Ph.D.
Kateřina Maršíková is a vice-rector Foreign Affairs and works as an associated professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Liberec (EF TUL), Czech Republic and as a Career Counsellor for students and employees in the Career Centre of TUL.
Her specialisation is in human resource management (both as an academic and practitioner). She is a lecturer of Human resource (HR) management, management, and other courses at the Faculty of Economics, both in Czech and English language at EF TUL. She gained her experience also by managing human resources as a project manager of several large HR projects (including the international Erasmus+ KA2 project related to HRM in small and medium sized enterprises or Ministry of Education projects). She has also been working on knowledge management in an international project (Norwegian funds) with NTNU University. Also, she has been publishing in human resources for over 20 years and cooperates intensively on human resources issues with corporations.
As the main project leader of ERNILAC, she is responsible for the implementation of activities on both the Czech and German sides. She manages and coordinates all teams and activities across the border, ensuring the expert execution of research and educational events. She is responsible for risk management, monitoring and evaluating the project’s progress, as well as its strategic and conceptual management. She holds personnel responsibility for the project team and ensures cooperation with all project members. She participates in project events, project team meetings, and collaborates with external experts.

Ing. Tereza Michalová, Ph.D.
Tereza Michalová is an assistant professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Liberec (EF TUL), Czech Republic and works in TUL’s Career Centre. Her specialisation is in human resource management, and research is related to knowledge management knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding both in the business and academic environment.
She teaches human resource (HR) management seminars in both the Czech and English languages. She also worked on the topic of knowledge management in an international project (Norwegian funds) with NTNU University and through virtual mobilities. She co-organizes Blended Intensive Programmes on various HR topics and enjoys working in international Teams through various projects. She gained practical experience in HR as an HR assistant in a multinational corporation.
As part of the Czech team in the ERNILAC project, she contributes to data analysis, as well as the planning and coordination of activities related to students and academic staff. She collaborates on the development and management of the career compass and publishes project outcomes on social media and websites. She participates in the expert group and other project activities and works closely with German colleagues.

Ing. Hana Trávníčková
Hana Trávníčková is a researcher at the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Liberec (TUL), focusing on the development of competencies, particularly for Generation Z, in relation to the needs of the labor market for her doctoral studies. With over 10 years of experience in various HR roles, Hana has been responsible for recruitment, employee training and development, and other HR processes in several companies, both Czech and international.
She also interests for ESG topics (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and entrepreneurial activities. Hana has personal experience with the Euroregion Nisa and aims to bridge the gap between students and practical experience, for example by coordinating the JobTULDays career fair or activities in the career centre TUL. She publishes in international scientific journals, presents at various professional conferences, and participates in different collaborations both within the Czech Republic and internationally.
This research associate in the ERNILAC project focuses on company research, data analysis, and its application in planning activities. She is responsible for the Career Day, excursions, and the evaluation of the project’s research activities. She contributes to the development and implementation of activities for companies and students, manages the career compass, and works closely with German colleagues.

Dipl.-Kff. Kateřina Tandlerová (FH)
Kateřina Tandlerová is a project manager at the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the Technical University of Liberec, where since 2019, she has been involved in the coordination and administration of projects in the fields of education and research. She has extensive experience in managing cross-border Czech-German projects focused on education and collaboration between the academic sector and other stakeholders. In the past, she has also been involved in managing cross-border Czech-German projects in the nonprofit sector. Her work emphasizes close cooperation with university and international partners, project budget management, and ensuring the achievement of project goals and deadlines.
In the ERNILAC project, she is responsible for overall project management, communication with the grant provider, and financial administration. She oversees accounting, budget tracking, and interim reports in collaboration with the project leadership. She coordinates procurement, contracts, public relations, and risk analysis. She ensures compliance with financial and program requirements and participates in project events and team meetings.

Profesor Stefan Eckert
Professor Stefan Eckert, in his role as research manager, is responsible for overseeing the strategic and conceptual direction of the research project while ensuring its scientific accuracy. His key responsibilities include supervising complex, strategic, and conceptual research tasks. He also facilitates effective communication and collaboration between teams on both sides of the border.
Additionally, Professor Eckert addresses any challenges that arise during the research process and coordinates activities to ensure the project’s objectives are met. His duties extend to developing a public relations strategy aimed at sensibly promoting delicate research findings and raising awareness of the results. He plays a pivotal role in disseminating the project’s outcomes, particularly by presenting the white paper to universities and political decision-makers.

Max Drake, M.A.
Max Drake, M.A., is responsible for planning and coordinating two research projects focused on the needs of regions and companies, including the development of qualitative and quantitative questionnaires, as well as analyzing study programs. His primary task is to analyze and synthesize research findings to create thesis papers for university and regional policymakers.
In addition, Max oversees the operational implementation of the study and ensures the ongoing analysis of the overall project. He evaluates the project’s progress, particularly regarding its scientific objectives. He is also tasked with coordinating efforts with the team of experts and maintaining close collaboration with Czech colleagues to ensure the smooth execution of the project.

Simon Eichentopf, M.A.
Simon Eichentopf, M.A., specializes in planning and coordinating events for students, as well as organizing workshops and excursions. His primary responsibility involves analyzing and synthesizing research findings to develop topics and content for these workshops and excursions, with the aim of gaining insights into strategies to increase the likelihood of graduates staying in the region.
In addition to organizing and overseeing the execution of workshops and excursions, he is tasked with continuously analyzing the overall project and evaluating its progress. This work directly supports the final development of the career compass. He also coordinates with the team of experts and works closely with Czech colleagues to ensure smooth collaboration and project alignment.

Oliver Tettenborn, M. A.
Oliver Tettenborn’s, M. A., scientific work focuses on the implementation and coordination of the two research projects on the needs of companies in the ERN region and on the investigation of study programs. As a specialist, he takes on challenging tasks in scientific research as well as complex multidimensional tasks at the interface between science and the public. He contributes to the scientific expertise, conception and implementation of complex scientific research activities.
Overall, he independently and autonomously develops a strategy for communicating scientific results. He coordinates and communicates the project activities with regard to networking with companies for research projects. Besides, he regularly participates in coordinating project activities (meetings etc.) to ensure the sustainable achievement of project goals.
